Regional Subcommittee Chairs (See also each Subcommittee guidelines)
- 3 years clean time (unless otherwise noted in the specific position description).
- Serves a two-year cycle.
- Reports quarterly to the ARSC.
- Are considered ARSC participants (in accordance with the Policy and Procedure guidelines).
- Attends quarterly ARSC meetings (in accordance with the Policy and Procedure guidelines).
- Are funded to attend ARSC meetings.
- Arranges for their subcommittee vice chair to attend a quarterly ARSC meetings if they are to be absent.
- Prepares a handover document for the incoming chair prior to leaving their position.
- The handover document will include all ongoing matters, policies and procedures pertaining to the operation of the sub-committee.
- Ensures that the [chair title] @na.org.au email address is kept active, by logging in and sending an email at least once per month.
*This position is funded for attendance at face-to-face ARSC Meetings (See also Travel policy and procedures).
Regional Subcommittee Vice Chairs (See also each Subcommittee guidelines)
- 2 years clean time (unless otherwise noted in the specific position description).
- Serves a two-year cycle.
- Are considered ARSC participants (in accordance with the Policy and Procedure guidelines).
- Are encouraged to attend quarterly ARSC meetings (in accordance with the Policy and Procedure guidelines).
- Are asked to make themselves available to attend a quarterly ARSC meeting should their subcommittee chairperson be unavailable to attend.
- If the subcommittee chairperson cannot attend an ARSC meeting, then the subcommittee vice chairperson shall be funded to do so.
- Ensures that the [vicechair title] @na.org.au email address is kept active, by logging in and sending an email at least once per month.
*Are not normally funded to attend ARSC meetings.
#The Subcommittee Vice Chair is encouraged to attend ARSC meetings held virtually along with the Subcommittee Chair (as a means of gaining working experience).
