Information Technology Subcommittee Roles

Last updated May 2023

2 years clean time.

Overview

The services that the IT Subcommittee members support require specific knowledge, skills, and experience. IT Subcommittee members self-nominate to a service position on the IT Subcommittee by indicating their willingness to provide service. Members of the IT Subcommittee discuss skillset, fit, and need and provide the necessary access and training (if required) for the subcommittee member. There is no maximum length of service, however, all senior members of the IT Subcommittee are expected to help on-board new members to provide skill redundancy availability for all service positions.

Soft Skills

Patience, tenacity, an attention to detail, problem solving skills and service acumen are all essential to being on the IT Subcommittee. Communication skills and a collaborative spirit will serve each member and the fellowship well.

Willingness to serve and a powerful dedication to the fellowship are paramount.

Technical writing and Instructional skillsets would be invaluable.

IT Subcommittee Roles

IT Subcommittee members will hold at least one role and are not prohibited from holding multiple roles. The primary, secondary and tertiary roles will be agreed among the IT Subcommittee members. The IT Coordinator will be consulted regarding roles and the division of labour.
