Guidelines for H&I presentations
/0 Comments/in H&I/by webservantgoldcoastH&I is an integral part of how we as members and as a fellowship carry our message of recovery by visiting institutions. Here are some guidelines
We always go in pairs, preferably a female and a male
Bring some literature to read.
Arrive about 10-15 mins before start time, introduce yourself and hang the banners if available. Please wear masks upon entry if required, but not while speaking.
Observers, H&I coordinators or facilitators should ID if sitting in on the presentation.
H&I Emphasises a strong message of recovery in NA – how it was then, what happened and how it is now, carried by our two visiting members.
A suggested formula is:
* Start with a reading from our literature and a bit of an introduction to NA.
* First member shares – for around 20 minutes
*Some more literature can be read.
* Second member shares for around 20 minutes to finish the meeting.
*Then ask residents if they have any questions.
*Close with the serenity prayer.
