| Clean Time Requirement: | 2 years (and a minimum of one year previous Area service including service as an Administrative Officer and/or Sub-committee chair). |
| Float: | Per diem of $120 when attending ARSC |
| Duties and Responsibilities: | Adapted from ‘A Guide to Local Services’ Alternate Regional Committee Member is responsible for: • supporting the current RCM in their tasks • learning to take on the RCM role • attending Administrative Committee meetings • attending the Regional Committee Meeting interstate with the RCM toward the end of the Alt RCM term; • being available to Sub-committees and groups to access resources. It is advantageous for the RCM Alt to have a working knowledge of the service structure and stability to complete the time commitment to full term. The position involves a four year commitment – the first two years serving as the RCM Alt then going on to complete a two year term as the RCM. |
