Group Service Representative (GSR) in attendance THIS meeting:

ORDER OF BUSINESS

1. Chairperson opens meeting by:

• • Greets everyone with introduction & identifying administration of GSF
  • Welcomes all members and observers to the GSF meeting
  • Explanation of basic GSF order of business, meeting structure & suitable conduct
  • Emphasise that this is not our work, we are merely servants of a higher power

2. Chairperson calls for a moments’ silence to be held by all meeting participants to remember why we are here & our primary purpose, ‘to carry the message of freedom from active addiction.’
3. Service Prayer encouraged to be read by all meeting participants;

“God, grant us the knowledge that we may act accordingly to your divine precepts. Instil in us a sense of your purpose. Make us servants of your will and grant a bond of selflessness that this may truly be your work, not ours – in order that no addict, anywhere, need die from the horrors of addiction.”

9. Old Business – arising from New Business at last GSF:

Bank Account Details

• Need the signatories on the meeting minutes – To resolve this next meeting Ash will be Chairperson, Wade will be the Vice Chairperson, Syrah will be Secretary. Consensus with the whole GSF

Christmas Event and Money

• Ash to follow up with Michael and Michelle and update GSF at next meeting
• Hamish has $10 left from his $40 and gave his receipt and the $10 to member Jeff to pay for the rental of the room for the GSF
• Dee – Has receipts, has spent about $5.00 over

Social Media – Facebook group

• Guidelines explained and that all posts are replied to by the group and that posts are decided by 3 people before being taken down and a reply sent advising which tradition it’s against
• People advised that they do not have to be members of the Facebook group if they don’t wish

11. New Business and tabled proposals:

Chrissy – Asking if we would like to setup a PR group

• Chrissy advised of what she would like to do with a PR Group. Consensus passed by the GSF, Chrissy will create the group and provide an update to each GSF

Treasurers Role detail

• Consensus passed of creating the role
• GSR’s will take this back to their groups and there will be nominations at the next GSF
• Suggestion of 2 years clean time requirement

Australia Day Event

• Syrah has suggested to run an NA event for Australia Day
• Suggestions that there is not enough time
• Agreement made that there will be an event where people just bring their own food

Activity Committee Person

• Discussed that as a group we prefer any member be able to run a group or meeting

Establish date for next BSNA GSF meeting

• 2pm Saturday the 6^th of February 2021
