1.2. Service prayer:
God, grant us the knowledge that we may act according to your divine precepts. Instill in us a sense of your purpose. Make us servants of your will and grant us a bondage of selflessness, that this may truly be your work, not ours – in order that no addict, anywhere, need die from the horrors of addiction.

Today we stand in footsteps millennia old. May we acknowledge the traditional owners whose cultures and customs have nurtured, and continue to nurture, this land, since men and women awoke from the great dream. We honour the presence of these ancestors who reside in the imagination of this land and whose irrepressible spirituality flows through all creation.

2.1. RCM
2.1.1. Region was held 3 weekends ago;
2.1.2. Fund flow is down
2.1.3. Still looking for online sponsors
2.1.4. Newcomer Banner proposal was accepted;

2.2. Treasurer
2.2.1. Reports are on the website
2.2.2. Adding more Sub-accounts through Westpac – need to have minutes authorizing the sub-accounts; after discussion the Board authorised the opening of five new sub accounts to accommodate group requests

2.3. H & I Hub
2.3.1. SQCC has recently reopened for visits;
2.3.2. Helana Jones has recently changed managers; Meredith has tried contacting them about changing the time and day of the meeting;
2.3.3. Arthur Gorie has 3 members cleared to go in; looking for another couple of men;
2.3.4. Meredith will forward details of prisoner who has been released and is very keen to find a sponsor;
2.3.5. Michael has just finalized a new roster for Moonah and it is going well; Michael will check if they need literature
2.3.6. Emma from Acute Mental Health emailed requesting H&I go in;
2.3.7. Lives lived well reopened on March 24 and John has given the roster to Asher who has set it up till June;
2.3.8. Caboolture mental health is very well resourced and there is a roster in place till June; participants were very keen to participate

2.4. LSC Tasks and Planning
2.4.1. discussion about delegating tasks; general format is 10-4 time frame; talked about having 7 speakers for the speaker jam; The title is Let’s talk service (one step at a time) Step 1 – Elz, service at the home group level; Step 2 – Jason & Marcie, GSF experience; Step 3 – Fran, H&I; Step 4 – John, PR; Step 5 – Deebs, sponsorship; Step 6 – PT, regional service; Step 7 – Nathaniel, Michael B & Dave T, world service;
2.4.2. The speaker jam will be dictated by the issues that come out of the morning session; The speakers will be a panel; will need a scribe in the morning session; PT will lead the morning session; Meredith will help facilitate;

2.5. PR
2.5.1. Brisbane North is still holding a meeting every 6 weeks and record where everyone has been in the previous meeting; possibility of expanding what they do eg giving talks but will need
2.5.2. First week of June is PR week; looking at each member doing 1 thing eg going to a police station and libraries
2.5.3. Haven’t heard from Brisbane South
2.5.4. Need to change the time and/or day of the PR meeting as not much response
2.5.5. John C. will email regional contacts to see if they need any PR material;
2.5.6. Telstra is still ongoing;
2.5.7. John C. will send Sami contact details for Cassandra who is PR contact for Inner City for the contact list;

2.6. Website / Outreach
2.6.1.1. We received the following feedback from Rainbow New Farm:
This form is almost unusable. Every time you roll your mouse over an amount it changes every single amount field. A simple 2 minute task turns into a 10 minute ordeal.
2.6.1.1. Jason is seeking members to join an IT project to help with keeping the website updated; Members with administration skills are required to help build content design and content and to administer meeting lists; ideally need 4 people to join; Jason will get a template together and will get the group to make the final decisions so that the project will evolve into a hub;
