1.1. Chair’s welcome.
1.2. Service prayer:
God, grant us the knowledge that we may act according to your divine precepts. Instill in us a sense of your purpose. Make us servants of your will and grant us a bondage of selflessness, that this may truly be your work, not ours – in order that no addict, anywhere, need die from the horrors of addiction.
1.3. Acknowledgement of Country
Today we stand in footsteps millennia old. May we acknowledge the traditional owners whose cultures and customs have nurtured, and continue to nurture, this land, since men and women awoke from the great dream. We honour the presence of these ancestors who reside in the imagination of this land and whose irrepressible spirituality flows through all creation.

2. ITEMS
2.1. RCM
2.1.1. Region is this weekend; Brad requesting the board cover his accommodation for region in September – to be placed on agenda to discuss further

2.2. Treasurer
2.2.1. Reports are posted on the web
2.2.2. We discussed the remittance of Friday night’s donation to World Service
2.2.3. Michael will reimburse Sarah for the cost of petrol for the drive to Cairns; Sarah is to send him receipts;
2.2.4. Money was paid into the old bank account which has been transferred to the new account; Michael will keep the old account open for now

2.3. H & I Hub
2.3.1. As part of her role Meredith has a library of literature and has done an inventory of what she has;
2.3.2. Cabolture Mental Health needs the reading cards;
2.3.3. Meredith will put together a meeting box for Moonyah;
2.3.4. Harvey Bay Library has requested some literature which Meredith will send from her library
2.3.5. Meredith enquired about anyone who is a JP in the fellowship
2.3.6. Sami advised that Townsville members are keen to go into the local prison (both men and women); Meredith will follow up with the prison

2.4. LSC Tasks and Planning
2.4.1. The speaker jam was well attended and an extremely successful venture; all speakers spoke really well;
2.4.2. Elz lost the receipt for the tea and coffee he bought which was around $60; the board agreed to reimburse him without a receipt; Elz needs to email Michael in order to arrange;
2.4.3. John put together 13 PR packages and 10 went out to various groups;
2.4.4. The Board needs to take the outputs from the speaker jam service workshop, summarize it and post it on the website and distribute it to the GSFs; GSFs to provide feedback on what actions they think are required; the board can then collate and prepare an action plan; Meredith will send the findings from the Unity Day to all the board members to take it back to the GSFs;
2.4.5. Sami raised the possibility of the speaker jam being inclusive of regional area via Zoom
2.4.6. There are plans for another speaker jam to be held at the end of August on the 28th –

2.5. PR
2.5.1. Brisbane North is going well
2.5.2. Email was sent out to all GSFs about contacting venues to put on their social media announcing that there was an NA meeting there;
2.5.3. June 5 to 11 is PR week worldwide; each area
2.5.4. Posters and business cards have been placed at the New Farm library
2.5.5. Contacted Telstra early May
2.5.6. PR chair position is vacant
2.5.7. A member in Townsville is wanting to do some PR; Sami has passed on John’s number

2.6.1. Another committee meeting was held but wasn’t well attended;
2.6.2. Next meeting is scheduled for end of June
